Pink Hamsa Fused Glass Dish/Plate

Sorry, this item has sold.

This is a listing for a glass fused dish measuring approx. 5"x5" in hot pink/magenta glass with dark purple (looks black) stripe and an image of a hamsa hand. The hamsa looks more red, than brown, up close. Glass is COE90 and is perfect for rings or other small trinkets (rings not included).

Each image fused on glass fires differently so no piece is the same. Hand wash with warm water and soap recommended. Great hostess gift.

The meaning behind the symbol:
Hamsa

The hamsa hand is an ancient Middle Eastern icon symbolizing the Hand of God.

In all faiths, it is a protective sign. It brings it’s owner happiness, luck, health, and good fortune.

The hamsa hand has a wide variety of different spellings which includes hamesh, hamsa, chamsa and khamsa. But the word, “hamsa,”derives its name from the five fingers on the hand.
In Hebrew, the number five is hamesh and the fifth letter of the Hebrew alphabet is “Hey,” one of God’s holy names.
