Sorry, this item has sold.

This is a listing for a glass fused dish measuring approx. 5"x5" in white with a strip of green glass and an image of a Hawaiian torch ginger flower (awapuhi). The flower is light and the image is subtle. Photo taken by me on the Big Island of Hawaii at Akaka Falls Park.

Glass is COE90 and is perfect for rings or other small trinkets.

Each image fused on glass fires differently so no piece is the same. Hand wash with warm water and soap recommended. Great hostess gift.

The meaning behind the symbol:
Hawaiian torch ginger (Awapuhi)
Red ginger flowers symbolize fiery passion. The general theme running through each species of the plant: strength. Ginger can represent limitless prosperity and diversity in personality. Sometimes, ginger flowers are given as a substitution for roses.

A NOTE ON COLOR:
Monitors vary in how they display color. I have represented the color of my pieces as accurately as possible but it may look slightly different on yours.

One of a kind and handmade in Chicago.
