This is a listing for a glass fused plate measuring approx. 5"x5" in blue swirl transparent glass with an image of a turtle (honu) in reddish-brown. Glass is COE90.
Each image fused on glass fires differently so no piece is the same. Handwash with warm water and soap recommended.

The meaning behind the symbol: Turtle (Honu)
The honu is the Hawaiian symbol of longevity, peace, good luck, humility, and the spirit within.
The turtle also symbolizes the navigator that is able to find its way home time and time again. It is revered as an aumakua, or guardian spirit, for many Hawaiians.
The honu has rich symbolism for other native cultures as well. In Native American culture, the turtle symbolizes courage since it must stick out its neck to move forward.
