This is a listing for a glass fused plate measuring approx. 5"x5" with lavender/purple and beige/light peach glass with an image of a hibiscus in reddish-brown. Glass is COE90 and is fused in a sloped square-style plate.
Each image fused on glass fires differently so no piece is the same. Hand wash with warm water and soap recommended. Great wedding or housewarming gift.
The meaning behind the symbol:
The hibiscus is the state flower of Hawaii. It is believed that the hibiscus universal meaning is: delicate beauty.
In the Japanese language of flowers, hanakotoba, the hibiscus means “gentle” and it is said that it both is connected to the universal meaning and has inspired the Hawaiian meaning.
A NOTE ON COLOR:
Monitors vary in how they display color. I have represented the color of my pieces as accurately as possible but it may look slightly different on yours.
